That really was one of the more ludicrous laws. I forgot Prairie Meadows has tables now, don't they?
That takes place at Horseshoe, not Harrahs
Yeah, but they usually only have 2 $5 BJ tables going. They have a bunch of empty $25 tables usually though, and a bunch of guys vulturing for a spot on a $5 table. It doesn't make sense.
Hey let's take this convo to the FPC for JWolf
Lulz. See how fun it can be outside of that thread though? I started a music thread last night and asked parents if they'd get their daughter a dildo.
Well shows what I know I thought they were the same place (owned by the same people?) anyway I had a good time, went with the wife let her play (waste of money) I finished a few spots out of the buy in for the main satellite. Anyway I thought it was Harrahs because we had to sign up for a card to play then I kept getting fliers in the mail form Harrahs to go to Vegas the whole next year.
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Harrahs owns Horseshoe, yes. But there is a Harrahs casino there north of Ameristar. I think Harrahs is moving their casino all on land also
I converse in a lot more than FPC thread
Its been a few years now but I guess I do remember not knowing where the eff to go once we got there, it is the one and only time I have been to CB
And I was happy to participate in both.
Of course I had to do it this morning because I went to bed early last night. #oldfart
Ya Creamer is a champ
Yeah only time I go is to visit Horseshoe or Harrahs
I did laugh at this. Upvote for you Creamer.
Awe shit dad you spread your seed all the way to Nubland. You whore you.
Creamer was a test tube baby.
i can count the number of times i have been to a casino to gamble on one hand. the last couple times i have been, it's been to see a show.
when my wife was pregnant, i was at the job I was eventually laid off from. it was my first christmas there. for christmas they reserved rooms for employee in their office at Riverside, had food brought in to the owners suite, and they gave each employee and their spouse $100 to gamble. My wife was due around that time, so we did not make it and the following monday, I was handed $100 for me and my wife.
With that said in regards of this CR casino thing (i haven't read any comments, so it may have been discussed), even if it does get approved, will the state issue any more gaming licenses with the saturation of casinos in the area, or is this city just throwing money away to have another special ballot? I think the casino should've been approved the last couple times it went for a vote...but people in this city seems to think a no vote would've saved the gambling addicts from themselves, when all it did was send them (and everybody else who responsibly gambles) to Riverside, Waterloo, Dubuque, Quad Cities, Tama etc
When I lived in DSM I would play blackjack at Prarie Meadows a few times a year... thats about it.
I do do sports betting on Bovada though...
it's gonna be kind of hard to play golf with broken knee caps, though.
Who's breakin' 'em?
growing up outside CB (yes the cesspool) aka Counciltucky we had very nice athletic fields for the youth paid for by casino money. Also all that ugly art they keep putting up including that terrible looking bridge by the Bass pro came from casino money so there is the good and bad.
