You found the Vedder and Waters one. Nice, I forgot to look for that.
Yeah that was pretty sweet, I found it the day after.
The next day I was asking students if anyone watched it and some said yeah and I said that two people from two of the best bands ever performed together, then some girl mentioned them, I was shocked. Then some boy said something about watching Bon Jovi, I told him that they sucked almost as much as Nickelbck, and he was offended that I did not like Nickelback, and I said it figures you would also like them.
I said then that I am not going to say Vedder is the best singer out there, but he is definitely in the top 1,
I wish I had you as a teacher in HS. On the Jack Black theme, this is shitty quality, but I was rolling when I saw it live on TV.
Casey Abrahms and Jack Black.
American Idol on Fox.
I will still upvote even though I don't agree with the top 1 comment. I still need to listen to that. Will check it out in a minute.
Yeah it's a matter of opinion, but he is pretty damn good. I could honestly listen to him all day

That's awesome, I have not heard that one before. I am a big Jack Black and Tenacious D fan, so I have heard most of his songs. I enjoy this one
Jack Black appears on American Idol's charity special to perform Kiss From A Rose.
I could listen to him all day, too. He played an acoustic show here a month ago at a small venue. I'm pissed I didn't go. Maybe you posted it already, I didn't read through the whole thread.
Eddie Vedder and Jimmy Flemion Perform "The Longing Goes Away"- "Starboy" 11/11/2012 Austin, TX @ Bass Concert Hall
I was given permission to film and share this footage.
A very beautiful and emotional performance by Eddie Vedder and Jimmy Flemion.
On November 11 2012, Jimmy would see Eddie for the first time since the death of his brother Dennis. It was a very emotional night for Jimmy. Not to mention the first time on stage with his songs and without his brother next to him. He would join Eddie with the very wings Dennis gifted to Eddie years prior and have shared the stage since. Eddie and The Frogs share a history. From the stories shared by Jimmy and Dennis, Eddie respected The Frogs even when some of his fans didn't. I can't speak for Eddie but I believe, Eddie knew... He understood Jimmy and Dennis and what they had was special. Eddie invited Jimmy to play guitar and perform once again, Jim's songs, to honor Dennis and The Frogs music. Our kids were in the audience that night and they got to witness the respect of Jimmy and Dennis aka The Frogs. I was very moved, it was beautiful and I was proud of my husband. I cannot say enough about what The Frogs mean to me, as I am not very good at putting into to words or... am I doing it now? I LOVE my husband Jimmy and LOVE my brother in law Dennis. Dennis I miss you and wish you were still here. You had to go for reasons we may not understand and it's okay. I wish I could have more conversations with you or shall we say "listeningszz".... Eddie Thank you once again for the respect you gave to Dennis and Jimmy and being the kind friend they know you to be and thank you for a beautiful and memorable performance and allowing me to share this with everyone! Let the performance speak for itself!

Yeah that was pretty good. Wish Waters would have at least played bass or something. Eddie does do pretty good singing those older songs. Like when he played with The Doors.
Hope this works. I'll try Mother Love Bone first. I always liked the Chole song. Pearl Jam next.
Before there was space or time there was rock and roll.
Oh well, Like you say Maury, I need faster internet. Sigh. You guys can get it faster yourself on Youtube. Chole Dancer/Crown of Thorns. First Mother Love Bone and a damn fine version by Pearl Jam. Neil Young even covers this one. From the days of the dawn of grunge. Wasn't really grungy imo.
Good call MtHawk
these are good friends of mine. Walk the Moon.
That was pretty good. I actually listened to all of it anyways.
Every music thread needs this song Imo.
