Headed up Iowa's way. Already shoveled half my driveway once. can barely tell I did anything already. Coming down at 1-2" per hour right now. Supposed to be like that through noon. Hopefully my father in law has his snow blower running. Also, I'm in a southern suburb of KC. We were supposedly on the light edge of snow at 6-10 inches. I'm guessing we are closer to 10-12 when its all said and done.
I'm staying off the roads. KC drivers are nuts.Stay safe brothers and sister.
Thus far the snow storm in Omaha has been most disappointing.
We're only going to get up to 63 today. Brrrr......
Life is hard. It's really hard if you're stupid.
3-day forecast for me....
Ya I heard5 inches in 2 hours I hope it doubles by the time it hits me
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
A KC resident on the Nebraska board posted these from his front porch.

P I love it, come to daddy
Can't wait for my quarter inch of ice tomorrow
Hardly an inch of snow on the ground in Omaha. By looking at the radar the snow storm looks like a flop.
Latest weather radar images from the National Weather Service
Haven't even seen a snowflake yet in Iowa City. I'm the disappoint, I don't want to have the option of going to class tomorrow.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
I don't believe the storm is supposed to eastern iowa for another couple hours. We topped off in South KC around 9 inches, but from 6 to midnight(haha) we are supposed to add another 3-4. FYI, Belton was only supposed to get 6 to 10 total. Northern KC had areas of 12-16 inches expected. Pretty much everything is shut down north of Belton. Most of the highways and roads were shut down for awhile. KC just doesn't have the plows and other resources to keep the roads clear. Almsot 3pm and we are yet to see a plow go down a side street in Belton.
I dont think I.C is supposed to get much
But with that being said that probably means you will get the most
If we didn't get any snow, or just got a trace I would
5:45 and nary a flake here in C.R.
Just started here at 5.....already 30 feet of snow
I hope you were smart enough to get emergency provisions before hand?
