With heat indexes in tripled digits....damn
And just for good measure.... #firstworldproblems
Drink lots of water. I've suffered from dehydration before and it really sucks. Stay safe dude.
In memory of Tusks.
That's got to be extremely frustrating. Back in 2006 (I believe) when I was living in Columbus, we went like 5-6 days without power after some extremely heavy winds. But that was in September, so it wasn't nearly as hot as it is now. Hope it turns back on for you soon!
That's rough. What's going on up there? Storms?
We had a brief wind storm blow through which caused the problems. Just got the power back though. That AC feels damn good!
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Did you guys get any of it in Evansville? It looked it came from the north
Not a drop. We haven't had any rain in almost 5 weeks now
Datyyummm. We didn't get much rain but the wind knocked down some power lines.
Glad it came back on!
Bet you regretted buying that black leather couch.
I'm a little weirded out by that one
Feed me to the wolves, and I will return leader of the pack. #FreeDA
I feel for you guys. Being out of power is a real eye opener. The first thing that gets your attention is, how do you get water to flush the toilet if you don't have city water. Then if their pumps don't work, well... Then that is small when you see all of the food in the fridge and freezer warming up. If you have gas you can cook and can like crazy. If Ready Kilowatt is your only answer, you are screwed. Maybe use the barby with the propane if that holds up. Bonfires are good if you don't start the neighborhood on fire.
I've been there and done that with no power for two weeks in the winter. Cold definitively gives you more options on those things, but then, there is the furnace......
