Who has seen that movie? I haven't had a chance to yet, but really want to soon. For those that have seen it, what'd you think? I've heard great things thus far.

I am guessing you mean 42??? Not 24
If so, fantastic movie
42? The Jackie Robinson movie?
Buck beat me to it. I haven't seen it and was planning on going this week.
Went last Sunday, loved it
Who is this Perk guy? I think I hate him, pretty sure of it. I thought 24 was coming out with a movie thanks for nothing OP.
Yeah do not like
Yeah, he's awful
They don't play modern day music during the movie like they do in the previews, do they? That bugs the hell out of me.
And piss of, Brad.
I don't think so, but now that you ask, I really cannot recall. The movie had a lot going on to keep me preoccupied. They obviously couldn't show all things he endured, or how often it actually happened, but I think they showed a good sample of it. Great movie all the way around
My bad! Thanks for catching that - that's what I meant.
Also, glad to hear it's so good. I remember being really excited to see We Are Marshall, because it's such a great story, and coming away very disappointed in the movie because I didn't think it was well-made. Jackie Robinson's story is so powerful that it would be even more disappointing if the movie wasn't well-made.
Don't insult my insults.
I hate you is what I was trying to say.
I liked We Are Marshall and I'm pretty critical of movies. Granted, I didn't know the details of the story before the movie came out, so that could be part of it.
Oh ok. gotcha
The story itself is very powerful, so with that in mind, I thought it could have been made much better. I saw at sort of like North Carolina or Kentucky making it to the Sweet 16 in basketball. That's a big accomplishment for a lot of programs, but when you have as much to work with as UNC or Kentucky do, you ought to expect much more than that. With such a powerful story, it should have been one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I didn't think it was.
Quick interesting fact, Jack Lengyel actually was the coach at my college before hired as the head coach at Marshall.
You are old
Saw it on Tuesday. I thought it was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. Definitely worth seeing.
I wasn't actually there - or even born yet - when that happened.
That's a little disappointing to hear. I'll see it no matter what, but with a story so powerful, it's a shame that they weren't able to make it into one of the best movies ever.
I know I am older than you I think, was just kidding
