  • Somebody was so confident that he didn't have to pick an upset of the week to serve as a tie breaker. Well, that's because Golden redeemed himself from a week ago to go 6-0!!! Nice job young man. You deserved that Old Milwaukee Light. What's the flavor for this week? ...a few called for SDSU to upset Boise. Wisc almost got a good one picking Pitt over ND.

    Iowa (-4.5) vs Purdue. Hey, it's Purdue. So, maybe people will come back to pick since they won't have to pick against Iowa =)
    Wis (-7) @ Ind. Who will be the Leaders' rep for the BIG championship game?
    Minny (-3) @ Ill. Wil Ill win their first BIG game?
    NW @ Mich (-11?)
    PSU @ Neb (-7.5?) a toss up really. Ok, give 3 pts to the home team.

  • My crystal ball seems to either work to perfection or not at all. Hope it is working this week with the following picks.......

    Iowa- Backs against the wall. IF THE HAWKS DO NOT WIN THIS GAME, they might as well play the Nebraska game in Lincoln......either stadium will have more red than black and gold.

    Wis - Indiana shot it's wad last weekend. They barely beat Iowa.
    Illinois is on a roll this week. Even dead people got to vote again. Dead Illinois will win again too.
    Michigan - not guilty of looking past this one for their big game against Iowa.
    Nebraska- the crops are all in. Time for full-time football.
    Stanford- what can a guy have to say about Stanford?

    Miss State in a shocker over LSU.

    Beer of the week? No nominee from me. My last nominee pick did not do too well this week. Let the judges decide this week's prize.

    Wis (-7) @ Ind. Ind. Tackles give Wisc a tough game. The Indiana passing game finds a way to win this one 35-31
    Minny (-3) @ Ill. Contrary to Goldendog, Illini can't beat Vassar this year. Mn 31-10
    NW @ Mich (-11?) In a real Dog fight, NW 31-29
    PSU @ Neb (-7.5?) I like PSU, but I like Neb more. Neb 35-31
    Ore St @ Stanford (-4.5) Stanford has not been as impressive as Ore. St., so Ore St.45-42

    Upset poss: Indiana could be my upset pick, but I think WV over Okla. State will be more fun.

    Depending on if Denard Robinson is playing I may have already chosen my upset of Northwestern over Michigan, but West Virginia upsetting Oklahoma State is my secondary pick.

  • Iowa 27 vs Purdue 20. Both teams will be moving the ball. Iowa is more thirsty for a win.
    Wis 31 @ Ind 27. Not the Big 12 or Pac 12 but both O will be over 450 yds.
    Minny 20 @ Ill 17. Firezook.com will be fired up again.
    NW 20 @ Mich 24. Denard or not, the D and the Big House will carry them through.
    PSU 23 @ Neb 24. A close game, down to the last poss. Want Neb to be really high when Iowa chopped them down. =)
    Ore St 24 @ Stanford 27. Turnovers will be the key here.

    Hmm, I'll go with the LSU upset as well. Still having a hangover from last week.
