Under Armour

  • Sounds like with the addition of Maryland other schools will be going to Under Armour. I know Iowa won't change their jersey design but do you think other teams will.

I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.

That's an interesting question. My first thought is that most of the schools in the B1G have very traditional uniforms that haven't changed much over the course of time - Iowa, Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, etc. I could see schools like Purdue or Minnesota giving their uniforms a tweak here or there to create some more buzz surrounding their program, but I would assume most conference schools will keep their current uniform relatively intact.

  • Is this something other schools have said out loud, or just speculation? I saw Miller tweet something along the same lines, but other than Maryland, I'm not sure Under Armour had much of a foothold in the ACC.

According to Wikipedia (fingers crossed) the only other ACC school they sponsored was BC, and they already have NW in the Big Ten.

Rovell says Plank/Under Armour will not be footing the bill for the ACC exit fee.
