Glad they are identifying talent early. A long way to go with this kid and I think he'll have most major schools after him in the end. He'll be tough to snag.

Good Luck. Coach Reid is a great guy and recruiter, but it's gonna be quite some time before you guys are going to be able to come down here and pull top kids off our wish list.

Regarding DeBerry, the one advantage Iowa has here is that he's already built a good relationship with Reid. That being said, this will likely be an uphill battle for the Hawkeyes. Iowa's best chance is to get him on campus for a visit this summer and completely blow him away. Even that may not be enough, as he'll have no shortage of suitors.
