Should Iowa continue to actively recruit in Wisconsin?

I think I might have said this before but I had a buddy ask a girl out 6 times before she finially said yes on the 7th. Long story short he end up marring a chick way out of his league

You don't quit recruiting places cause misfortune. Florida I see cause of distance & culture differences but Wisconsin I don't at all especially now that BB is gone.

I believe BB had some was able to recruit some of their talented linemen from the Badger state.

I agree with your previous statement. All bordering states should be recruited.

  • I found it interesting that Iowa now has an assistant coach assigned to Maryland/DC area. Also, as Todd mentioned, increased presence in Ohio. Also, I believe the Chicago area is getting more attention in the future. And, in addition to Greg Davis, Iowa has an assistant heading for the wilds of Texas. Continued presence in St. Louis area; continued presence in MN. I frankly doubt they will shut down in Wisconsn...but look at the other areas and what they are planning...bang for the buck and all that.

  • Interestingly, if you breakdown Kirk's recent pressor, Wisconsin is not represented by any of the coaches as a regular recruiting target.

I noticed that as well. It could have just been an oversight, so I'm really not sure at this point. Indiana, Minnesota and Missouri also weren't mentioned, but Iowa is still active in all three, so we'll have to wait and see how this all plays out.
