Justin Jackson had been hoping to land an offer from Iowa for awhile now, and the Hawkeyes delivered the good news earlier this week. Click here for the Top247 RB's thoughts.

He really wanted an Iowa offer? Don't hear that every day from a highly ranked kid.
I'm assuming Corner would be another spot Iowa is looking at him? I'm surprised that RB isn't the only option for such a gifted runner. Interesting to say the least. I hope Iowa can land him. RB will be a need area next year as Bullock and Weisman will be a junior and senior his first year on campus.
Either way this goes, this kid needs to be on the offensive side of the football. Watched his highlights and he has great running skills and catches the ball very well. Iowa needs that talent and playmaking ability. Much the same I think Maurice Fleming should be utilized on offense as well.
Probably am going to re-watch his video's after class today, that said IIRC my only knock on Justin is that he doesn't finish off runs every down, conversely one of the most impressive things about Jeff Jones that I was most impressed with wasn't his agility or his footwork, explosiveness or whatever, it was the fact that he would run through the end zone on every TD run.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
Yes Please - this kid has everything an Iowa running back would need to excel. He has a great frame to add bulk, he seems to prefer to run between the tackles, he has outstanding acceleration and top end speed, and he has ridiculous change of direction. HIs highlights remind me a lot of Canzeri except this kid has a bigger fram and plays in a much bigger class of high school football.
Good news abounds.......

Is Jackson planning on announcing at any particular time? If he's thinking Spring or Summer I like Iowa's chances.
Another possible early start to the recruiting trail? Do you think we go two for two and load up the 2014 class early?
