Where did you here the info?
The likely OC at Iowa is Greg Davis
Ran a great offense at Texas
-Coached 3 NFL QB's
-Always Under appreciated at Texas
-He Played QB at McNeese State
Whats is offense like?
Started off as Pass first guy, throwing the ball around at Georgia as OC
Went to North Carolina, UNC was best theve ever been
Then to Texas had 9 great years, one bad year, then was fired after that year.
Mack was looking for multiple offensive sets, went separate ways
Used to have 4-5 star guys, now has 3-4 star guys... Says might be a little different but will still be the same, hes done good at 3 other colleges.
Very mobile as a OC, Can move around depending on talent on the team (ex. going to a spread team when Vince Young was QB)
Whats his personality?
Very scorn, deliberate, hard worker.
Good guy, he will get along with all coaches
Very personable, nice
His sources say its almost a done deal, timeline will depend on Coach Ferentz schedule

No he really sounded like he was confidence we would be in good hands. Davis was at Texas for 12 years and has 9 of the top 10 offensive seasons in Texas History
I have been putting my hope in those exact numbers, and the success he had. I know there are angles/issues anyone could use to argue against this hire, but until I see a poor product on the field I will let his production be the measure, regardless of 'Texas' talent....
