    For the first time this year Dutch Apple Breakfast Sausage Sandwiches are on the menu - back by popular demand.

    BTW: 204 Golfview Ave. One block due west from the stadium as the crow flies, 3-4 block walk around the tracks. West on Melrose from Kinnick across the railroad tracks, due north of the old Fairchild Grocery (Now Stella's). White Yukon on the right side just across from a wooded ditch type area.

    BTW:

    1. I have three extra tickets if anyone is interested.

    2. Schnebby and his wife just gave birth to their second daughter on (probably) Friday or Saturday. Congratulations my friend.

    3. Schnebby REALLY needs to come to the UN game with his belt buckle. (It's undefeated, ya know) rockon

  • BBR, you can count on me. I even had the clunker repainted and patched so no more wind whistling through the rust holes. LOL. I will have Leinies and White cheddar cheese as usual. I expect a win next week. ..................................... then two weeks of lump in the throat wishes for a bowl qualifying win.

  • I'll be there and in the Finkbine lot as usual. Think I may throw together a chicken taco chili recipe I've been wanting to try. My dad's buddy and I hope to continue our undefeated run on the beer pong table. We started at 9am for the Penn State game and didn't lose before we headed to the stadium around 5:45, probably around 15 games. I was a little drunk.

  • Golden and Gunnar will plan to attend the tailgate. Unless Kinnick changed their policy and dogs are now allowed, will not be staying for the game.

    NYC- Send Peyton over! Maybe we could find something to do during the game. (An old man can still dream about it, can't he?) pray

    If you need a delivery boy to get some goodies to ihawk's tailgate, we should be able to do that if you have an address and it is easy to find. Tthe crowd who will probably be consuming more than usual. Now it is ALMOST like Penn State...........every weekend IS our Bowl game because it is quite likely there will not be one at the end of the season for us.

    Looking forward to the DABSS!

  • Sadly, the Penn State debacle was my only road trip of the season.

    Whenever Purdue comes to town I think back to 1981 when we defeated the Boilers to break the "Purdue Jinx" and clinch our first winning season in 19 years. A great double-whammy. Hayden surprised their defense with a new wrinkle: Gord Bohannon on a quarterback draw from the shotgun. It worked for two touchdowns. I miss those daring and imaginative days.

    I have tickets to the game, but am debating on making the trip from Houston.

    I have not made a decision as of yet.
