FYI, BTN has never shown an IOWA - Okie State dual meet, even when they were ranked #1 and #2 and not even when IOWA was working on the streak.

do you remember the guy on HI (Jim something????) - bluz knows who i'm thinking of ... he had some project to get kids to watch wrestling - and i took him up on it years ago. My focus was to save CSF cal state Fullerton - when i donated some money and then brought some kids from my son's FB team to see Minny slaughter the titans. kids loved it - i thought it would make some difference. Titans don't have wrestling no more.
Really sucks - a state that has 30k HS wrestlers does not have many state college schools supporting the sport.
How do WE, WE get the sport noticed outside of Iowa/PA/OK? I was a fan of Jim's efforts - but don't know how to make it bigger. Wished that the UFC craze would have fueled the interest!!

I wish I had more money because I would do something HUGE to bring eyes on the sport. I mean D1 is picking up more programs so maybe slowly it is headed back in the right direction. Would be nice to get Texas and Florida to have D1 programs and I agree for as tough and great as wrestling is in Cali. it is disappointing that a big school doesnt have a program like Cal,UCLA or USC
