  • I will listen to Dolph and Hansen on the radio and if Lincoln doesn't get 20" of snow I am not going to be happy about this cancelation. frustrated

I'm disappointed too. I'm actually surprised BTN didn't pick this game up as a Student U production broadcast and have one of the Nebraska guys film it while they call the game from Chicago.

  • I am a DISH customer and get the BT network. I believe I can get this stream for free, but I am not sure how to do it...can you give me some hints? I live in Wisconsin...can I get a radio feed from an Iowa station? Help! And, thanks.

Just go to btn2go.com and then click on the "BTN Live" tab. From there a log in thing will pop up. Click on the dish network picture and then type in you online ID.

I remember they did that for a PU game last year or the year before and the feed to Chicago went out. It was pretty funny

there is a fee to get the btn2go id, tho, isn't there? in november i watched a few games this way--with hdmi/hdmi connection from laptop to tv. i think i paid...

  • I think it mentioned somewhere in an article that they will make it free somehow but if one uses their cable company selection and password it would make it easier? Either way, I will be working this Saturday and will have to listen to Dolph and Bobby. Sucks that we can't record it to view it later; as long as IA wins. Go Hawks!

  • There is no fee for btn2go as long as you have a service that has that channel. You will need to make sure you have an online account with the TV service, whether it is Dish or a cable network. Then you need to find that tab and click on it. Once you do you will have to be signed into your TV service and then you will have to make a login for btn2go, I used the same password and such for both

And if you have an iPad there is an app, I use that and really enjoy it when I have had to catch wrestling or basketball on there for whatever reason

    grumble

The Jeff Sagarin rankings have THEEEEEEE IOWA HAWKEYES as their #35 team, this week.
The Cornshuckers are over 100, right now.
As long as we get the W on Saturday, I'll try not to grumble about the fact that it was to be
televised nationally on ESPN deuce and now nothing.

There was already a women's basketball game scheduled in the time frame. BTN was not going to be an option.

This is the best possible solution given all the factors.

Also, as someone else stated, the BTN2Go app is different than the pay-per-view streaming service on BTN.com. BTN2Go is FREE but your cable/satellite provider has to have an agreement to support the service with the network. I know Mediacom (largest cable provider in the state) and DirectTV are on the list of available providers but if you are served by a smaller, local provider you may be out of luck Saturday afternoon.

  • You know if OSU or Indiana were playing BTN would have picked it up or an ESPN team would have. Iowa needs to get to the point in basketball.

Not sure if you theory is correct, in this instance.........when it's a winter storm, as this happened to be.

However, the good news is KCHawk25, Iowa is getting much closer to Indiana than many are willing to admit.

Last year, Iowa beat Indiana at Carver Hawkeye arena. This year, IU escaped by 4 points. And if the Hawkeyes can
take care of business this week, they get another crack at the Hoosiers.
