Anyone think this might be a reason why Malik Rucker decided not to visit Washington State after all?

Maybe, but I doubt it. Almost everbody under Mike Leach has had nice things to say about him.
If I was a QB or a WR I'd wanna play in his system

I personally haven't heard players specifically coming out to defend Leach, but that's off topic so it doesn't really pertain.
This however is pretty significant in my mind though as this was a good/very good WR for them (as opposed to a whiny daddy's boy like at Texas Tech) and a school is once again doing a serious investigation into him. If the school even sniffs the possibility that he may have screwed up and given what happened at Texas Tech, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a clause in his contract allowing them to fire him and they probably will. If that happens, Leach's career is pretty much over.

I doubt they fire Leach. Wilson and that whole senior class were a bunch of punks that just didnt care about his way of doing things. WSU cant afford to lose Leach of heresy from a disgruntled degenerate that acts like TOjunior on the sidelines.
After Leach was fired and the kids graduated in Texas Tech they all said that the Craig James kid was a douche bag and firing Leach was the wrong thing to do. Crabtree specifically is one of them.

No inside info here but if I had to bet the farm it sounds like a player that thinks he is bigger than the new staff. Leach and staff know that they are on a short leash and no way in year 1 he messes up. Mental abuse? Go tell your Mommy.

No problem. If you have not followed WSU this year, I'll fill you in on Wilson: Great WR, but the kid has a very piss poor attitude, takes plays off and has body language that announcers call him out on.
I personally like Leach. He has a straight forward attitude, shoots from the hip and tells you the truth. Wilson obiviously issues when you leave the team and feel to bring locker stuff out in the public. If Wilson wanted to quit, he should've walked in Leachs office say F*** you, update his Facebook profile saying "Quitting the team, can't see eye to eye with coaches" and leave it at that. Instead he says they physically abused him like a complete bit**. Seriously Wilson grow a pair of balls, your a D1 athlete and your coach is hurting you?
