According to Chicago Tribune the 2 schools are working out a deal with Delaney to join.

Rutgers? Fine with me. Just a quick trip across the Hudson River to see my Hawks.
Maryland? I'll also take it. Only a 3-hour bus/train trip to see my Hawks.

Sucks if this happens. Nothing against either school in particular, but the bigger the conference gets, the less it feels like a conference. When you have kids graduating and never played another conference foe because they are in the other division and haven't rotated in, that's too much. It's been what, 4 years since we've played Illinois?
If you don't like my opinion, at least you can enjoy the view
