He seems like a nice little player with good speed and shiftiness. What's your assessment of him, Todd, given that he appears to have flown so fall under the radar with only offers from Iowa and Temple? And why was that? Is he a reach? At 5-9/180, he seems a tad small to play TB in Ferentz's offense or is Davis going smaller? Where do you see him playing?

I'm sure he'll redshirt...but man, he'd be awesome on KR/PR's. Has everything one would want in a returner except maybe high end speed...didn't see it on his tapes, but then again, he may have not just needed it...lol

One thing that I have seen, that may influence his light recruitment is that he comes from a community that is more known for its criminal element than football recruits. Maybe the coaches were literally scared away from recruiting him?

I totally agree with you that he could be an exceptional return man, especially punt returns. While he may lack ideal speed, he has amazing vision, is very elusive and can make cuts going full speed. I really think Iowa got a steal with this recruit and once he gains a little weight, he will be very dangerous.
