Even if IA did beat MSU and lost to OSU, I think they may have not been considered into the dance since the #1 seeds for the NIT have better RPIs and records than IA. So, in a way that's a blessing in disguise since the Hawk fans would have been even more pissed off like those fans of the #1 seeding NIT invites.
