I was going to say Woods but I can't even see where he has a recruit committed yet, Brian looks to have a solid resume of verbals under him, I dont know I am going to wait a few days to give my final opinion

I think Johnson is also in the mix here. John Kenny is his only commit right now, but Jonathan Parker could be added to that. And while he didn't end up sticking, landing David Kenney in April was an enormous get for Iowa. And closing the deal with John Kenny so early was crucial, as Kenny really helped Iowa with the remaining targets on the board. Brian Ferentz, Woods and Johnson are probably at the top of my list right now, so these next few days will determine the outcome.

I honestly think it is a pretty even spread for all around (including next year etc.) but Reese and Brian have done the best but it seems as Johnson and Woods have been all over the world recruiting. Nice actually seeing our head coach helping out as well

Throw LeShun Daniels in there as well as one of Ferentz's commits.
What do you guys think about Eric Johnson for this? He was the lead recruiter for John Kenny, Andre Harris, Malik Rucker and Jonathan Parker (who may come into the fold within the next 24 hours). He was also the lead recruiter for David Kenney, and Iowa likely would have kept him if it hadn't been for a unique situation.

Just like in football, everything has to be a team effort, including recruiting, IMHO. Sure, you can have the guys who make initial and continued contact, but doesn't the whole staff enter in when convincing them Iowa is the place to go, especially during a visit? What about facilities, campus, curriculum, location, tradition, reputation, odds of success, etc. all come into play? Not a one-man show in my opinion, although the lead guy is very important in his establishing a personal relationship with a potential recruit. The rest of the team has to help carry it from there to a sealed deal.
