With regrets, I am here on the VOTH, following the game. My schedule made it impossible to travel to Iowa City for the game this week. Sigh..... Oh well, I still have the Nebraska game in two weeks.

The team seems to be playing with as little emotion as the fans are showing here in this thread.

The announcers are terrible. The question is not, "Was it behind the line of scrimmage?", the Question is, "Was the intended receiver behind the quarterback when the pass was thrown." If they can't get that right, what the hell are they doing announcing college football?

is that really the best 3rd and 4 play we have? ...a fade route to the sideline???

we don't have that play where the receiver runs hard for 5 yards, comes to a stop while the defender is caught backpeddling (like iowa's always are) and then jv delivers the ball for a first down??

The problem with Iowa is, and has been the last 3 years, that we are so predictable. We might as well tell the defense what play we are running, and on D it's the same. Base D, never blitz ... etc. Need to shake things up to give us a chance
