agreed! Our dline is being dominated and as has been the case all season lack any sort of a pass rush. Michigan knows they can do what they want and Iowa is on its heels on defense. Our defensive backs are not playing well either but they are being forced to cover for far too much time which is allowing deep routes to develop.

This is the type of game that gets coaches fired. Because most schools are smart enough not to give $20 million in guaranteed money.

I was hoping Iowa could at least keep it close...
I am ready for the seniors to graduate...hopefully we get some leaders next year. Anybody that has some pride to play.

Their shortest drive is 70 yards? At this point I'm just wondering if they'll finish with over 600 yards total offense.

I learned something about gamedays from a former HC a long time ago.
Gameday is about oversight, not micromanagement.
Hire competent assistants, and let them do their jobs.
Executive decisions (4th downs / hands teams / acceptance of penalties/TO's) belong to the Chief-but how the team goes about executing belongs entirely to the men he hired and put in charge.
At the end of each year, it was easy to see any consistent disconnect....and remedy the problem. New Hire being the ultimate sanction.
Gives you a Saturday CEO who's more able to pay attention to the bigger picture.

More than the first losing season in over a decade. This team is bad, but we're short on talent. I look for improvement next year. Iowa will never be a perennial National Title contender, no one is in college ball. It's cyclical.

We have about the same talent we do every year. We just dont let those players play. Our coach is a moron. And he stuck with the worst qb in football. Davis, mm and fedorowicZ are more than capable. Moot point if u too dysfunctional to throw thr ball. All ferentz.

JV has been horrid at times. But the talent on the O and D lines is no where near it usually is. And our LB and secondary aren't where they've been either.
