Also, I see where you're coming from, but I like the rule. There are a lot of instances where a player is fairly obviously faking an injury to stop the clock, and I think this rule will be good for the game, obviously teams like Michigan State are unique situations and while they need to be dealt with somehow, it's hard to speculate when a player is "truly" injured or not. The only thing they could do is say if a player goes down "x" many times (ex. 2 or 3) per quarter or per half, they have to sit out the rest of the game or something of that sort and as you might imagine, that isn't exactly a perfect rule either.
