ISU had some big wins i.e. over Miami, Ole Miss, Creighton, UNI twice... but they do have 14 losses. So, if Iowa brings their A game like in the 1st half vs MSU, then, it shouldn't be a problem.

i'm a smidge worried about the wednesday match-up with indiana state. i'd feel better if the hawks had clawed their way into the nit instead of falling into it. given iowa's offensive liabilities, it is hard for them to beat a solid team without a strong effort on defense and on the boards. i expect the hawks are quite capable of winning if they can muster the required defensive and rebounding effort. i'm just not sure they're in the mood to invest that effort--or more precisely, i'm not sure they'll be in the mood at tip-off.
hope the hawks are hanover free.
