We happily accept the NIT offer and then proceed to kick every buttocks along the way as hard as we can. No mercy. Think of it as revenge with two teams below us in the conference dancing instead of us.
Next year.......Bombs away!! Unleash the new and improved Hawkeye team with full recall of what happened the year before. Put Liberty (15-20?) on the schedule. Beat the crap out of them in an unofficial pre-season game if we have to, just to prove a point.
Am I dissappointed? Hail, yes. Am I mad about it? Hail, yes. Time for everyone to get mad again, and not forget it until next year's season is over.
But for right now, we have some butts to kick in the NIT. (Seems like MSU did that one year just before they got back into the regular BIG and national spotlight.)
