I like Fran's reaction to not making the NCAA Tournament. If a coach is overly bitter about that type of thing, it can spread to his players, and maybe they aren't quite as focused on winning games in the NIT. Iowa still has a great opportunity to play five more games and continue making progress as a program, so it's important to focus on that opportunity rather than complain about what might have been.

Very true. From here on out, these are all bonus practices and meetings that the team can benefit from. And with just one rotation player departing, the players and coaches can continue to develop their chemistry heading into next year.
