DeShone Kizer already holds two BCS offers, and Iowa stopped by to visit the 2014 quarterback earlier this week. Click inside for his thoughts on the Hawkeyes.

  • Todd I hope i'm correct, I heard he grew up a michigan fan. Seems like he preferrs the pro-style over the spread offense too. I like our chances.

You're correct on both accounts. Michigan could be tough to beat if they offer, but I do think he'd be interested in a Hawkeye offer as well.

  • lol Todd, I forgot I am not VIP. I can't read your response haha. Just realized i'm on iowa thread, that's what I get for posting too early in the morning.

  • Well one things for sure, as a high school sophomore, hes a better passer than Terrell Pryor ever was or Braxton Miller can ever be, so I am sure SliMeyer will want him to come to Columbus. But his gimmick offense doesn't translate to the NFL. I would like to think we have a legit shot at this kid, but being he is from Toledo, scUM has to be the odds-on Vegas favorite.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking about that either. Just changed it for you.

He seems intent on playing in a pro style offense, so I don't think he'll end up in Columbus. With Michigan switching to that offense in 2013 and beyond, I agree with your prediction if the Wolverines offer.

  • Sounds like a good prospect who could do well at Iowa. He's got great size and pretty good stats for only being a Sophomore. Maybe we'll get lucky and Michigan will screw something up and not offer or something. biggrin I can hope.

No reason for an Iowa fan to iterate "scUM" unless your bitter like the other fan basis'

    Hmmm....

ITERATE: Noun: A quantity arrived at by iteration.

ITERATION: the act of repeating a process usually with the aim of approaching a DESIRED GOAL OR TARGET OR RESULT.

    BINGO! moon

No one here has been "bitter" about scUM...since 2006.

Just for your own education there Awink2, I live in Ohio, born and raised. Been a Hawkeye fan since I was 8. The only schools I hate more than scUM, is Tosu ("tOSU" is reserved for Oklahoma State) with their new coach, Urban sliMeyer and of course, Notre Dame. You don't like my use of "scUM" to refer to your program? Too bad. At least I don't use "Wal-Mart Wolverines". banana

Even less reason for you to jump on your horse and act tough on another teams board. We're all for legitimate discussion of football, but if this is all you can add to the conversation then please feel free to crawl back under your bridge.

FYI, to add to OhioHawk pointing out your failure to correctly use the word "iterate," we are not a fan "basis." Iowa is a fan "base" kind of like Michigan is a fan "base," together we make 2 fan bases.
