  • I guess my take on it is if we want to stay remotely competitive next year it is not like you can bring someone in and have the kids learn a totally new playbook. Although change would be nice it would be great to find someone that has a similar scheme with the ability to add more in to it as time goes on. Plus we all know careful Kirk is not going to allow a new OC to do anymore than what he wants anyway.

    Good point. It'll certainly be interesting to see how much leeway Ferentz gives him in terms of changing Iowa's offensive system.
