The Hawkeyes were very successful with the 2012 class in Illinois, and look to continue that momentum in 2013. Click inside for the latest on a blazing fast offered safety.

  • Hmm, maybe some more names besides Bob Sanders and Tyler Sash need to be thrown out there. Todd don't be afraid to mention Amari Spievey (starting SS for Detroit Lions), Sean Considine (NFL vet. with several starts), Charles Godfrey (starting SS for Carolina Panthers), and Bradley Fletcher (starting CB for St. Louis Rams) as former Hawkeyes! ;)

lol I assume the coaches let him know about all those guys as well. Sanders and Sash are probably the most notable though (Sanders being the best player, and Sash the youngest), so that may be why he mentioned those two off the top of his head.

  • When Flemming finishes his great NFL career full of pro bowls and championships he needs to return as recruiting director with all the kids he has recruited for the hawks

Good point - he'd do an outstanding job in that role.
