Im more on *uisu's side as articles and headlines do have a huge impact sometimes. The headline is sometimes the only thing people stop to read. Either way stories can be very harmful but to make an attention grabbing headline that differs from the story is wrong IMO. To see what slanted news reporting can do just take a look at Jaleel Johnson, this may not be completly accurate but I read that Jaleel was upset the other day after he saw a story on TV where the news guy made it sound like Coker (another RB) was run out of town by the school and that the team has a history of running players away, It put a slanted story out there before the facts were even gathered.
Now look at what a mess that story caused but you know what, it caused more hits on the web and viewer and reader numbers went up as people followed the story. All for what, money, name recognition, a jab at a team they don't like, who knows but it was a very unprofessional job imo. I am glad I spend my money at a place that stays away from such unprofessionalism.

General reminder that name calling and personal attacks won't be tolerated, even if directed towards another site. Feel free to disagree with whatever you want, but there's no reason to make anything personal.

I just edit out what I wrote and say nm. I think a mod has to actually delete them but I could be wrong.

Well I never have really went over to that site, but I went to see what fuisu was talking about. I didn't see any problem with it. It's a fair question to ask. Kirk will push Iowa up that hill again. And I wouldn't worry about recruits looking at sites like that. Sure they might do it, but I don't think that factors in at all with their final decision. If it does then I hope none of them read the free football board at rivals
