Finally!

  • If the other top teams can win out, we won't have an SEC team in the national title game.

Alabama and Nick Saban finally lost!

    Yee Ha!!!!!!!!!!

  • K-State could easily lose today, and they still have to play Texas.

Oregon has a tough schedule left. Cal tonight (cake) but then Stanford and then at Oregon State.

Notre Dame, yeah they could fall to USC, or who knows, even Wake Forest.

So Alabama falls to..what 5th? Maybe 6th, and with West Carolina (great team there...) and Auburn left on the schedule, then the SEC title game, they could easily move back up the polls to get to the BCS NT game.

For the record I also think Georgia/Florida could make it. If the undefeateds get beat, then it could happen.

Go K-State, lead by former IOWA HAWKEYE coach, Bill Snyder.

  • I'm all in for K State. We "underdogs" need to stick together. You know ESPN wanted Alabama and ND real bad.

As much as I'd love to see Kansas State beat Oregon, it would never happen. Oregon's team speed is completely ridiculous and Kansas State doesn't have the defense to stop them. Sure it would probably be a pretty good game to watch and would likely be high scoring, but I'd give Oregon about an 80% or more chance to win that game. Unfortunately to see Oregon continue failing, we need teams with elite DL's, playmaking LB's, and smart, fundamentally sound DB's who won't give up the big passing play.

I watched Oregon vs. Cal and what Cal did is exactly what a team needs to do in order to have a chance against Oregon, they need to more or less stop the running game and make that QB pass. The media got on its knee's and started bowing down to Oregon's QB for putting up points on Cal, but Cal isn't an elite defense, get a team who can pressure him with just 4 guys and blitz him a couple of times, he'll look as bad as Vandentrash. Personally I think it's a lose-lose scenario unless Oregon gets beat in the Pac-12 Championship game and Kansas State get to face Notre Shame, this is also the only scenario I can see Kansas State having a realistic shot of winning the NC.

I think they'd also love to see Alabama against Oregon. You'd probably hear the word "speed" used approximately 2,513,925 times per second.
