Good win for the Gophers. Gave Tubby a little bit more time. However, I think either the current VCU coach or the previous one (now at Bama?) will replace Tubby after the season. ...may lose to Purdue and Neb still =)
PSU win. Wow, great one for the bottom dweller. If you have to win one for the season. =)
MSU- can still lose 2 more times. Hopefully, Indy will too, at least one more time. But that would be bad for the BIG? What do you prefer?
Speaking of which- would you rather see Iowa beat Indy this weekend or pull of an upset in the quarters of the BIG tourney? Which win would weigh more? ...or is it too late and thinking Iowa has to win at least 3 in the tourney?
Good thing that anything is possible in this league. Now, let's hope that Gessell will heal soon.
OSU-NW tied with about 5 to go.
Oh well. OSU pulled away at the end.
Beating Indiana Saturday or in the B1G tournament would be very beneficial for Iowa, but I think even more so this weekend. For one, it'll be a road game, whereas the tournament will be at a neutral site, so winning Saturday will be more impressive. Also, by the time the hypothetical conference tournament matchup with Indiana rolls around, Iowa could have essentially locked up an NCAA Tournament bid by winning these next four games (including the first round of the conference tourney).
