Sounds like a home visit didn't go very well, maybe cause of his parents (via Twitter). Any inside info?
I just saw the tweet too. Definitely sounded like he is pissed at his parents.
Twitter - @chrisbrase
I saw Reggie's tweet,too. I'm guessing it was Illinois.
What did the tweet say? And could someone do there best uncoded translation of it?
Worst home visit ever it actually made me mad how fake my parents was being,
I honestly figured it was Iowa as it seems they dont want him coming here and all
I'm not sure, but I'm looking into it.

FWIW, last night I tweeted (a reply) to Spearman:
@Reggie_Spearman Sorry man, remember Landon Collins' mom on ESPN, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=a4drWJwvVKE … Take care!!!!!
Although Reggie seems to retweet every single tweet he gets, I found it interesting that he retweeted this one. Mine was a reply to the one that talked about his parents and made reference to Landon Collins mom's reaction to him picking Alabama over her LSU. Now both his tweet and his retweet of my reply have been removed.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it seems to back the notion that his parents are against him coming here instead of their home team. For those that haven't seen or don't remember Landon Collins mom's video, the youtube link is below. Remember it was live on ESPN.
edited: Spearman also favorited my reply and he doesn't do that too often, that I have noticed.

In todays age of technology theres no such thing as VIP info. Follow twitter and a couple free sites and you will get any info within 5 minutes of paying customers.
On Spearmen, Im not too optimistic on him to Iowa. This cat and mouse game raises red flag character issues imo. He can go where he wants but when you cant decide betweeen a wild card new coach at illinois and a well established, nfl producing coach at Iowa its pretty strange.
I spend about one day a week on twitter. Today I logged on, and decided to check out Spearman's account. Tons of stuff from Syracuse fans and some from Iowa fans. The one that got me was all the chit chat from 'cuse fans about they have "7 alumni in the NFL HOF."
I pointed out that that was "nice"...and even added "go cuse". Then pointed out "who has more players in the NFL...TODAY? HawkeyeNation, that's who". Got favorited and re-tweeted within minutes.
That is not so all the time. Todd quite often lets us know what a coach or player tells him, giving us a heads up on the players decision. Todd doesn't put those on Twitter and the free sites won't know them unless someone from here goes over and tells them.
As far as Spearman goes, I think he's going against his parents and that he knows where he wants to go. Maybe he changes his mind, maybe he doesn't but he seems to have run into friction from his parents which shows they're trying to convince him something different. Also, Illinois is a home team and that adds another bit of friction with family, friends, classmates and neighbors that he has to deal with. Also maybe he's puting this decision off for the same reason so many others do, signing day exposure. He lets fans hear the other teams fans comments and get fired up at each other. Then he will have the press from each place paying attention to his decision. Maybe that will happen, maybe not. Just wanted to give you another spin on it. Peace
Exactly. You might find out on a free site that a player committed, set up a visit or received an offer shortly after it's reported here, but rarely will you see the inside information or in-depth analysis that we try to pass along as much as possible to you guys.
