I'm now all about drunken tailgaiting, beer goggles and hoping to yell 'I" (SW corner) more than once at Kinnick.
For the first time this year Dutch Apple Breakfast Sausage Sandwiches are on the menu - back by popular demand.
Who's in? (And who can deliver a few sandwiches to ihawks76's tailgate?) I need to place my order for sausages byThursday.
Golden? Wisc ( I presume)?
Todd Worly? Fish?
Silver? - (I believe you still owe me a recipe.) Harley? (come on man) U2? OmahaHawk? CB? BookemDano? der? (sorry, no daughter) misty? (sorry, no daughter) JR?
Outside shots: Starch? e-hawks? ESAU? Pappycakes?
Really stretchin' it: Lao? Thai? NYC? Schnebby? Iraqi? Perk?
CB will be there
BTW: 204 Golfview Ave. One block due west from the stadium as the crow flies, 3-4 block walk around the tracks. West on Melrose from Kinnick across the railroad tracks, due north of the old Fairchild Grocery (Now Stella's). White Yukon on the right side just across from a wooded ditch type area.
1. I have three extra tickets if anyone is interested.
2. Schnebby and his wife just gave birth to their second daughter on (probably) Friday or Saturday. Congratulations my friend.
3. Schnebby REALLY needs to come to the UN game with his belt buckle. (It's undefeated, ya know)

i could go, since i live right down the road and have nothing planned for saturday....but i won't unless KF holds a press conference stating his intention to step down at the end of the season
Check. No sausage sandwich for you. No beer. No tickets either.
Would love to be there, but will be there in spirit.
Enjoy those sausages and salvage the season.
If I hear from Peyton, I'll send her over -- that would get Golden there in a hurry!
Thanks BBR but I have a 20 mile radius invisible leash so not this year. Maybe next year. Will be there in spirit as well and drink many spirit shots for me, lol.
BBR, you can count on me. I even had the clunker repainted and patched so no more wind whistling through the rust holes. LOL. I will have Leinies and White cheddar cheese as usual. I expect a win next week. ..................................... then two weeks of lump in the throat wishes for a bowl qualifying win.
I'll be there and in the Finkbine lot as usual. Think I may throw together a chicken taco chili recipe I've been wanting to try. My dad's buddy and I hope to continue our undefeated run on the beer pong table. We started at 9am for the Penn State game and didn't lose before we headed to the stadium around 5:45, probably around 15 games. I was a little drunk.
That's the spirit gents!
Thanks BBR but that is a big stretch. Can't say the same for Lao. Leash? That's weak. Who's the boss?
Golden and Gunnar will plan to attend the tailgate. Unless Kinnick changed their policy and dogs are now allowed, will not be staying for the game.
NYC- Send Peyton over! Maybe we could find something to do during the game. (An old man can still dream about it, can't he?)
If you need a delivery boy to get some goodies to ihawk's tailgate, we should be able to do that if you have an address and it is easy to find. Tthe crowd who will probably be consuming more than usual. Now it is ALMOST like Penn State...........every weekend IS our Bowl game because it is quite likely there will not be one at the end of the season for us.
Looking forward to the DABSS!
And..........what if SkyHawk52 'invited himself' to said Parteee?
Might stop by, BBR, but I don't need any tickets, can bring my own Beer.
(Golden says bring the Old Style light).
But, rarely do I turn down any sandwiches off the Grill.
GO HAWKS! Get PU and who knows what happens from there!
We might be Tailgatin at the Insight Bowl !
Wow, I'm even rolling my eyes at that last comment.
'Texan by birth, Hawkeye by the Grace of God'
I'll be there as always. A little upset your daughter won't be there this time though, I has a sad. I'll try to stop by and have a beer with ya though. Just google mapped the address so if I remember I should be able to find it.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
I plan on ordering 15 sausages then.
Sadly, the Penn State debacle was my only road trip of the season.
Whenever Purdue comes to town I think back to 1981 when we defeated the Boilers to break the "Purdue Jinx" and clinch our first winning season in 19 years. A great double-whammy. Hayden surprised their defense with a new wrinkle: Gord Bohannon on a quarterback draw from the shotgun. It worked for two touchdowns. I miss those daring and imaginative days.
I'll be there. Woop!
I was Esau. I'll bet NYC was too.
I have tickets to the game, but am debating on making the trip from Houston.
I have not made a decision as of yet.
I'll be watching it from home while looking up some hot spots to venture off to for the Christmas/New Years holidays, seeing as how our bowl chances are pretty nil.
Hey! Maybe if we let Purdue win, we'd have time to move the Hawkeye Cruise into that New Year's slot!!!
(just kidding, just kidding)
Section 110 Row 76 Seats 15 &16
Was that ever a frustrating losing streak (to Purdue).
I just got a message that Wisc can't make the game. Bummer.
But that also means I have an extra dutch apple sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted hogie bun available.
Sorry I couldn't make it BBR, I would've but I missed one of the earlier trains because I forgot ky ticket.
