Loser of SEC championship game will likely go to Cap 1 bowl. And Saban is upset about this? How about when they didn't even win his division last year and played in the title game?
If it were up to Alabama coach Nick Saban, the loser of Saturday's SEC championship between his second-ranked Crimson Tide and No. 3 Georgia would be
Saban was in a hour long interview where they asked him multiple questions. Someone asked him about where Alabama would go bowling if they didn't win the SEC championship game. He gave them the answer and told him what he thought. END OF STORY. He continue to answer different questions but yet the media cut & clipped one stupid segment & ran with it.
Muschamp is a Saban under study from his days at LSU & the Fins. He also jokingly replied with "he'd be willing to trade spots with him" when asked during a media interview
Saban brought a valid arguement but he wasn't petitioning for this. Guy sits down with media & fans for an hour and shoots from the hip and tells them whatever he is thinking. No bull, no scripts, no political correctness and doesn't dodge questions. Wish our coach would do that. Than again Saban is evil and we all love KF's media skills.
If Iowa was facing Wisconsin in the B1G championship and if Wisconsin won & got a NC bid, it'd make sense for Iowa to get the Rose Bowl.
Chive on. Haters going to hate but I'll tell you a couple things: Saban would've had Iowa bowling this year, he would've never gave Trent Mossbrucker a 5th year and he'd have the balls to say he was going to fire GD for sucking.
Also Morrison the best two teams last year were Alabama & LSU, if you hate the fact the best two teams were from the SEC than that's a personal problem but to claim they weren't a true NC is sad, they would've beat any team come bowl season. (Look up last years draft, Bama sent more guys in the 1st round than most schools sent total)

Also Morrison, Oregon is ranked 5th. They lost one game and should be considered for a BCS bowl game. They aren't playing for a conference title game. If it was 2014, they would most likely would be in the 4 team playoff for a NC run. Again all without playing in the conference title game. Only if your Jim Delany this doesn't make sense
I just had to post it because it was Saban and I knew you would respond. I really don't care. I haven't cared about the BCS for a long time now.
Lol...when I saw the title of the post, I knew FU would have the 2nd comment. He loves him some Bama!
Well the skinny of it is, the SEC is going to send two teams to the BCS bowls. However, the loser of 'Bama vs Georgia is going to be screwed, cuz Florida sits at #4. Which if Georgia loses (uh-hum...not likely) then Florida, a team Georgia beat is supposed to get the nod? If 'Bama loses, same thing, except they didn't play Florida...they played Texas A&M...
Now over in the PACifier-12, if UCLA beats Stanford, UCLA gets the AQ, and Oregon will go BCS bowling, even though Stanford already proved to be the better team by beating Oregon?
Let's just delete all the "Cobb County Charlie's Crematorium" Bowl games and move to a 16 team playoff. The NCAA has proven that tradition is no longer relevant, so lets do away with all the silliness. Just go, "Round one FBS playoff game sponsored by Massengill" and move on.
Wait, he's not an Auburn fan?
Which stadium is that bowl game played in?
And you make a great point. With all the movement of schools from conference to conference, it does sound very hypocritical for the NCAA to favor anything on the basis of tradition at this point.
As a MSU fan also, I will tell you this: the Nicktator may not be liked, but he is respected and feared.
lol Alabama still sucks imo!!!!!
and Nick Saban is still a d*uche!!!

Of course it has to be Eastern Washington's Roos Field...
I was thinking you were going to say some stadium located in Siberia.
