We should try to get a home-and-away series with the Broncos.
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Need to see a better reason. a game against them is usually no win situation. can we recruit anything worth recruiting out there? is there a tie (reason to be there)? is there TV money?
if not - I'd rather play UNI or NIU - or someone closer
Wrestling owns the Olympics
Why do we even need linebackers they need to be on the ball with true defensive ends like 4 of em so maybe 1 will pan out. Where is Spearman sitting Todd? We gna know anyday soon? Who is even left on the table, I hate to say it but this is the least excited I have been in recruiting at this time of the season in years. I don't even know whats going on, who is high on us,where we stand, nothing and you would think means we aren't in a bowl game it should be opposite of that
And on another note after reading the article 8 times out of 10 the only reason they are ranked so high is because they play no one. And next to the Oklahoma game and maybe another I can't think of right now, when they do play decent teams hell even mediocre teams from power conferences they lose. Now I am not saying they don't have a good program and develop well but if they were in the Pac or B1G or Big 12 or whatever, they would not be a top 10 team year in and out.
Sorry I wont share my opinion. And typically I would never say that, but means he pointed it out as a reason I think it is a bull reason
lol - i'm with you. just can't see the other posts (not a member). hate the love they get too.
funny - but they really hammered a great Washington team today.
They beat Georgia convincingly in Atlanta, Virginia Tech in the DC area, Oregon at home, Oregon State at home, etc. They've had some impressive wins when given the opportunity.
This was probably the worst team Petersen has had during his tenure at Boise State, as they lost about 20 starters from last year's squad. They still went 11-2.
Washington may not have been great, but they beat Stanford (the PAC 12's representative in the Rose Bowl), so it's not like they were awful.
Todd when people choose someone over Iowa I am a bitter sob u know that lol
You are going to have to explain the logic of your last statement to me. Washington was ok and had all of 1 or 2 quality wins, but great is the wrong word when speaking of them. And along with that note, I don't know what game you saw but what I was able to see of the Boise State/Washington game was not either team hammering the other.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
"What they're doing there is something you don't see at a lot of places. I fell in love with it. The great coaching, the team - especially at the tight end position, they're really cool. It's a big family environment, and it's the only show in town. Everyone sees it - they get kids that aren't recruited high out of high school, and turn them into NFL prospects and a top-10 team."
Take out the "top-10 team" part, and that's Iowa...of course, just 3 years ago, one could say all of it.
Yup makes me sad.
And Der I am guessing he missed it after they were down 18 to 3 or whatever it was. It ended up being a good game but due to Iowa like clock management Washington choked it they very easily could have won that game
