Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
good work for being at work. FB kept me updated
Thanks for the update!! I come here for the scoop on Iowa Wrestling. You all have not disappointed.
I do what I can Chicago but damn work got in the way today. I was angry.
I would've thought things would have slowed down for you this time of year since you're AIRBHG.
No no sir always busy
This is when I scout
Joe Colon was dismissed from the UNI wrestling squad for "social and academic" reasons, according to Coach Doug Schwab.
Heres a link to the release.
All accounts are that he couldn't keep his grades up. Although it is a little strange that he's being dismissed now, and not after finals, which are next week.
Colon had been suspended and did not meet conditions for reinstatement, according to Schwab
I always heard the Colons had personality issues. So I guess it is not a real shock to me
Brad, will you be in NY next weekend to meet the coaches on Sat and go to the meet in the Garden on Sun?
No the wife is student teaching and we are only living off my income so things have been tight, and I wont be able to get to as many meets this year. I wish I could though.
I know NYC is expensive, if you change your mind you have a place to stay and we are only a 25-minute walk from the Garden.
Can do and thank you for the invite. In addition to that meet I believe the rest of the non starters are competing in the UNI open I am thinking about going still but I have to work in the morning and not sure how much I would catch means it starts at 9. It is a loaded field there though.
