Woodbury still lost out there?
All IA players are lost out there. Not patient on the passes and playing scare. Down 9 and need to stop the bleed or it will be a blow out soon. Need to get back to the defensive mind set and make extra passes.
So far he's not the player I thought he would be.
Luckily, I didn't have super high hopes for Woodbury this year....
that was a terrible foul call on Gessel....Fran deserves to be upset
WSU seems to get a lot of the calls but IA can't seem to get those same ticky tack calls. White didn't get the call again.
Iowa needs to take advantage of this bad stretch by WS...
IA coming back slowly, 48-45 down 3 but has foul shots with Basabe.
McCabe and Oglesby out at the same time is not a good plan tonight. WSU on another run and lead back to 6 pt plus foul shot. IA need to get their crab together, time running out.
one thing I CAN'T STAND is when a guy goes to foul and still lets the guy go up for a lay up....either foul the guy HARD or just let him have the bucket
Still early for the kid. I also answered your inquiry about our 1981 NCAA game -- prob a page or two back by now.
If we make every FT from here on out, we win, but that is doubtful.
Let's Go Hawks!
we have to do better than 1 for 2 from the line each trip.....
Oh no, Woodbury at the line.
Just saw your reply. Yes it was such a hard game to watch - lute had a lot of one and outs.
Agree on Adam.
IA shot selection stinks lately.
Well guys, unless someone like Oglesby or Gessel all of a sudden get hot (and open) then its is not looking good for the boys in black tonight
It's always something -- Gesell and McCabe both at 0.
I think Adam is playing very well. He made a couple-three bad fouls. But to criticize him for lacking the bulk to handle a couple really tough, physical big men is to ignore the fact he is a freshman and needs more physical maturity to become that physical presence in the center that we have lacked for too long. He's a hell of an upgrade at the center position and will pay huge dividends as he gets more weight and strength to handle the inside game.
These guys are bums and we're making them look good.
I hate these bastards, and this goes back to 1981. If you don't believe me, just ask Hawklove.
super bad decision Gesell and compounded it by fouling on a lay up.....
I hope so Wisc. I really do. But still, I expected a bit more. They were comparing him to the kid from Indiana.
Why isn't White shooting more, and he is a perfect 10/10 from the line.
I know, and I think it is a valid comparison. But compare Zeller from 2010, not Zeller 2012. Zellar is not a Freshman and Woodbury is not a Junior yet.
