May day 3 gives IA 53-37 with 8 mins. Go Defense!
Iowa is on a 48-16 run!
Don't let up for a second.
Good day when Dev (15 pts) and White (13 pts) are on with their offense.
After the Wis-OSU game on CBS, the announcers said that Iowa must win today to get on the bubble.
If my math is any good, does that mean we were down 22-7 at one point?
I missed most of the first half.
I was down 16 pts in the middle 1st half, go back and see the comeback later if you got it recorded.
Love the look on the Minn bench just now.
Aaron White for Chris Street Award? Any doubt about it? I think he has the will and spirit within him. They could have been brothers, IMO.
May! and good clock management there. 61-42.
It was 21-5 Goophs with just under 13 minutes to play in the 1st half. I posted that when the Hawks took a 53-37 lead.
Count this one as a W!
Is Tubby helping IA by not playing Hollis and Mbakwe to give IA the large margin of win for the big Dance?
How SWEET is this win??!!
GO HAWKS! GREAT comeback, GREAT win!!
IA may not got MN's best fight today with Hollis's foul trouble, Williams out, and Mbakwe limited mins. We'll take the win. I think Tubby is helping IA's Dance punch card for today's win. IA have NE on the road and Pur next weekend, if they win those two, it will be 5 wins in a row before at IND.

Glad I missed that stretch of the game.
Nice to see Stokes get some points.
Stokes with a bucket!
In Heaven There Is No Beer!
And Minn was favored by 1.5.
this beatdown reminds me a lot of this....
I dont think this kid needs a gun for christmas
Absolutely huge win. Fairly good crowd on hand as well. That RPI is gonna rise this week.
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
glad fran figured out the man d was not the way to go against minny. boys really looked confused and ran into many screens early in the game.
when they went to the 2-3, immediately minny was running the clock down to 4 seconds with almost every possession.
obvious adjustment - but glad that fran saw it. and what a game by May.
Wrestling owns the Olympics
a very good analogy - started out the underdog with no confidence - and seemingly getting pounded early and the beat down was inevitable.
but nooooo - the tables got turned swiftly and no holds were barred -
Crowd was pretty good, especially the students that led a chant:
"These refs suck, these refs suck.."
Then we seemed to adjust to their calls, attacked the rim, got some turnovers and turned a deficit into a half time lead. And not 2nd half let down!
Re: Marge. She's a few sections down from me, mid court, about 6 rows back, she can't get into the refs as much and her kids are always sitting with her. She's a good sport.
Peter Jok amongst the crowd, paid his respects to Roy Marble at Half.
Iowa is officially on a streak, keep the dance dreams alive, beat Nebraska!
