Tonight's game on BTN at 8 p.m. (Eastern) will be preceded by an Iowa-Indiana game from 2011.
This is a very crucial game and last chance to win a non-con game vs. a power conference opponent. Also our last game until UNI on Dec. 15.
Hawks favored by 3. We need this one badly.
Let's Go Hawks!
Big game tonight!
What he said ^^
Did we win yet?
Oh wait, it starts in 3 and half hours from now.
GO HAWKS !
'Texan by birth, Hawkeye by the Grace of God'
Iowa Indiana from last year is on BTN right now warming us up.
Many thanks good sir
I hope IA learn to play defense tonight and foul won't be a problem for Woodbury. The concern is that ISU have a veteran team but they have not played with each other for long, can IA's youth, energy, and home court turn them sideways? We'll see...
If the ref's let them play up tempo on both sides of the court, Iowa will win. If it's of the touch foul variety, Iowa won't be able to shoot the ball as effectively, and ISU's experience will stand the test of time to the buzzer.
Let's go Hawks!!! Time to prove that we can win against better teams.
Just checking in. I have BTN up and running. I loved the reprise of last years thumping of Indiana. Great game and a great performance by Mike Gattens. We sure could use his dead eye long range bombing this year.
Niang's a good player.
Playing great so far...
If they can keep the defensive intensity at this level for the full 40 minutes, we will be unbeatable tonight. If we play defense this well most of the time, the rest of the season, we have to be a ticketholder in the Big dance.

How was that last turnover not a kicked ball?? ISU knocked the ball off it's intended path with their foot and picked it up for a layup and a foul. What a crappy no call there!!!!
Agree. I see Adam doing things tonight he hasn't done before. Check out how far out he comes on defense and how quickly he gets back under the basket
It's only a kick if the player purposefully blocks the passing lane with his foot. When the offensive player throws it off the defender's stationary foot its not a kick.
Very ugly all of the sudden
I think our problem is shooting over the zone.
It's the White and Niang show.
When May and McCabe enter =
Zone is an achilles heel so far, stay with the inside game and keep up the full court press. 3 pt shooting is not there and shouldn't be wasted on scoring opportunity. It's a young team versus a veteran one. Need to keep up the energy and effort until the end of 2nd half to have a chance. If the 3s were falling, it would be a blow out.... At least being down 1 at half should give IA to keep up the intensity in the second half. Go Hawks!
When McCabe, Oglesby, and May are in the same time, watch out for ISU run... I rather see how Olaseni can do in the second.
Marble needs to pickup his play in the second half. I thought he was pretty listless at times in the first half and did not show good judgement in ball handling on several occasions. We can't afford much more of that against ISU. Korie Lucas will have our lunch if Marble continues as he has so far.
