I saw this on ESPN and thought they were some neat facts:
• FGCU coach Andy Enfield is in the second year of a five-year contract that pays him $157,500 a year. He got a $5,000 bonus for reaching the tournament and $10,000 for getting into the Sweet 16.
• FGCU made the Sweet 16 only 591 days after being granted full Division I status.
• FGCU brought in additional servers to host its website FGCU in case it won Sunday. The servers still crashed, and came back up about 10 minutes after the game ended.

Maybe Enfields can go to Minny for 500K. =)
Not only are they a good story, but they're fun to watch. I'm definitely pulling for them the rest of the way.
Thanks for sharing those interesting facts! This one here stands out most to me, because that's a major transition to make, so it's amazing how quickly they've put it all together.
More FGCU trivia:
-The school probably doesn't need to be scared that they aren't paying their coach enough. Why? Because Andy Enfield is loaded. He was an entrepreneur for a few years awhile back in between coaching jobs. When he decided to get back into coaching, he sold his share of TractManager, a company that was valued at around $100M at the time that Enfield sold his stake.
-Enfield is married to former Victoria Secret and Maxim model Amanda Marcum.
Definitely, there's a bulge in his pocket one way or another.
The guy has a great life!
The last time I attended a game in CHA it was against FGCU. It was the 2007-08 season, Lick's first season and his 3rd game as Iowa coach. Iowa won.
