"The Giants liked Myers so much, they didn't let him end his visit without agreeing to a deal."
Myers is coming off a career year with the Raiders

Kind of funny Peyton had Dallas Clark for so long, now Eli has Myers.
Yeah, but Eli sucks.
I totally upvoted that.
Not a bad destination for him. They've got arguably the best tight ends coach in the league, they're generally good/very good every year, and they utilize their tight ends more than a lot of teams do.
but he has more super bowl rings, right? =)
Story about it in today's NY Post with a pic of Myers.
In with the new, out with the old? That could be the Giants plan based on the three free agent acquisitions they made yesterday, agreeing to terms with inside linebacker Dan Connor, receiver Louis...
Eli has 2 Super Bowl rings..........if that is sucking, could you send him over to my KC Chiefs for a couple of years.
But more importantly, very nice how Brandon Myers has carved out and worked his way into a very, very nice
NFL career. Now playing for a team that actually matters in the playoffs and post season.
Congrats to one of my fave ex-Hawkeyes, Brandon Myers.
'Texan by birth, Hawkeye by the Grace of God'
Kudos to Brandon Myers. When he was coming out of Iowa, I never saw him as having such a long and productive NFL career.
Yeah, cuz Lord knows he was the sole reason the Giants won both of those Super Bowls...nevermind the fact that he threw the worst Super Bowl pass since Neil O'Donnell right to Assante Samuel who decided, "no, I don't want that pick six", right before that super-ballsy jump ball throw to the 6'5 WR over the 5'10 DB.
Never mind his career 58% completion percentage or his career 82.7 QB rating...which is a full 10-15 points below the truly elite QB's. OK he doesn't suck, hes just average.
I'd take Eli over his attention wh*** brother any day of the week.
You'd take Eli over Peyton?
Never been a fan..........
sorry and I'm still NOT
Fair enough. I'd take Peyton over Eli without hesitation, but you're definitely entitled to your opinion.
How is Peyton an attention whore?
I like all his commercials and when he is on SNL. I figured most people did too?
Ahhhh..........Is this what they call 'Group think' ?
Wondering what Brandon Myers' contract detail$ are?
Typically, the contracts are quite lucrative in Gotham.
Myers' contract is on the books for four years, $14.25 million -- but the final three years, each with a base salary of $4 million, are all voidable. So the contract is essentially a one-year deal worth $2.25 million.
Myers received a $1.5 million signing bonus, a $725,000 fully guaranteed base salary for 2013 and a $25,000 workout bonus. His cap number for 2013 is a very reasonable $1.125 million.
It's making quite the leap to calling him an attention wh*** just because he is on commercials. I'm not sure exactly what you mean? I understand not everyone likes his sense of humor.
Contract boils down to one year, $2.25 million
