OWI last night
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
What a jackass.
Sine Missione -- Never be a spectator for unfairness or stupidity, argue for arguments sake; the grave will give plenty of time for silence.
why anyone would be surprised by this is beyond me. he is a running back at Iowa, this is what happens.
Don't blame him. Having to watch that team all year made us all drink a ton too. (All in joking manner, don't kill me please)
"I was brought in here to change the culture. I'm going to coach with passion" - Fran McCaffery.
still a believer that he'll ever see the field again at Iowa?
Im pretty concerned Iowa is due for a bad offseason. These kids will have alot more free time without a bowl game on their hands. Only saving grace will be if we have a very cold winter in IC. Things have potential to get very ugly for KF.
Too bad we don't have any offers out to a RB now...
Well Ohio he hasn't committed anywhere yet
Not like things have been all rosey the last two year's when they did have a bowl game. Iowa hasn't had a regular season starting running back start a bowl game since the Orange Bowl, and that was a pair of freshmen.
I personally think it's just AIRBHG getting an early start on the off season since he has so many running backs to take out before next season.
He (AIRBHG) is beyond powerful. Active all year round.
Like a virus, never quite goes away.
But don't dare criticize KF here or you will get beaten down.
She not he. Only a woman would punish men like this for years
This is completely untrue. I've criticized Ferentz on a number of occasions, and others have as well. Some people might disagree with you, but there are enough people that will agree with you. Personally, I think it's about 50/50.
I have even taken to criticizing KF, cuz quite frankly he deserves it. I've said for years that he is terrible with clock management (go back and look at the Tate to Holloway "catch" to beat LSU...came from bad clock management).
And anymore, his "pro-style" offense doesn't appear in the Pros. And the defense certainly doesn't either.
But the attrition from having kids drafted to the NFL, and from recruiting kids that didn't work out, has kinda left the cupboards bare, but its not 4-8 bare. Even with the injuries, the losses this year have more to do with the decisions made at the top...and I'm talking about KF's bad decisions, than any other year I can remember. And there's no excuse for it.
Its like he's still got a top 10 squad from 2009, and hes making the conservative play to play "not to lose"...instead of realizing that he has a squad that needs to gamble and play with some desperation.
This is spot on!!
.....but i know at least one regular "chugger" on here that won't agree, he'll probably call you a troll since this past year was just a bump in the road and Ferentz is still a God to him...2002 & 2009 are proof of that.
hmmm this is not me. But I cant think who it would be. I have 1 guess though
Awww that's cute. If you had even the most minuscule understanding of logic...or had ever seen me post before yesterday to know that I'm absolutely not a Ferentz fan, you would know this is an absolutely false statement. Keep it up though, it just proves more and more just how little you really know.
Final warning on this to everyone - knock it off with the back and forth insults. That's not going to fly here.
