Offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher is the biggest prize in that class. QB Jay Scheel has been hearing from Iowa as well, but hasn't landed any offers yet.
Scheel - that's the guy I was trying to remember. He looks like he a special athlete. If he continues to improve GD will be licking his chops. We don't see too many dual threat kids like that in-state.
When the time comes, it'll be interesting to see what kind of approach Iowa takes. It doesn't look like Iowa will land Aaron Bailey (although it's certainly not over), but Trent Hosick is definitely a possibility in the 2013 class. If Hosick eventually becomes a Hawkeye, does Iowa go after consecutive dual-threat quarterbacks? And does the arrival of Greg Davis impact that approach either way?
