Big 10 Roundtable

  • Hey guys:

Hope spring ball is going well for you.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Other than His ACL Tear-ness the great AIRBHG, of course.

    Garmon or bust?

Seems like that's where it's headed at this point. He'll have a great opportunity to win the job in August.

That's what it seems like right now barring any surprises in camp.

  • Losing Jordan may look bad but I remember our Orange Bowl run year where we were down to Arob & Wegher (with a lil Paki sprinkled in)

This year we still have Bullock & Johnson with experience, Dawson as a transfer, and Garmon, Hill and Malloy as true freshman. I could see Rogers running some single back stuff as well... Not saying we are in great shape but we've been in way worst shape. Every practice I've been to Johnson has looked pretty tough so I'm betting on him before Garmon but that's just me

15 National Championships and one Urban Meyer heart attack, Roll Tide. 23 NC's in wrestling and one badass Herky, Go Hawks.

I agree with this. I doubt Garmon becomes the starter until mid too late season after the hairbag or whatever it is strikes again.

The coaches thought highly enough of Bullock's ability to put him in the first offensive set last year, granted it was at wide receiver, but impressive none the less. Also Bullock has added some serious muscle this offseason and winter. Dawson is probably the biggest physical type back we will have other than Rogers.

Then you have DeAndre who may surprise some people this year. Either way it should be interesting!

Great post. Competition is always a good thing, and you'd think that whoever emerges from the pack should be playing at a pretty high level.
