We've discussed this before, but Iowa could very well start off 5-0 without anyone truly knowing how good the Hawkeyes really are. Definitely a nice advantage to have the bye week right before heading to East Lansing. That game, win or lose, will give us an indication of how good this team is.

What about our recent history should move this game out of the tossup category? jNW always seems to have our number, we're coming off a 7-6 campaign with wins against Mich but a loss to Minn. jNW is be missing Persa and is coming off a 6-7 season with a win over Nebby but a loss to Army.
