Todd...please monitor for us how A.A. describes his visits to other campus's going forward...curious to know if the term "OK" is his standard reply, or if Iowa was really that unimpressive.

I am not looking too far into the "OK's". I bet its the disappointment of not being able to interact with the players more that was more of a let down than anything. Lets face it, that is who he is going to be spending the majority of his time with, not the coaches.

Wow, I'm absolutely surprised by Allen's comments. Maybe I'm reading way to much into things but that didnt sound like Antonio had that good of a visit. Todd, I know you have commented before saying that Iowa was sitting well with Allen. Do you feel the same after your interview?

I think we are all hoping that is the case. Very underwhelming.

It's not very often that "I" am the one being the most opptimistic about these things, but when I have more time I will come back and do just that. Now however, I have to get downtown and go through "airport like security" to hear President Obama's speech.

I've seen it mentioned several times about Allen, Kenny and Kenney visiting together this summer. Where did that come from? Did one of them say it was a possibility, that its almost certainly happening, or was that just someone's speculation or hope? TIA

Not to mention East Lansing, which is about an hour and a half farther north than Iowa City. It just seems like he has lost whatever interest he had. This shouldn't be too shocking, afterall he managed to get to East Lansing and Ole Miss before visiting the Hawkeyes.
