If Lynch comes to Iowa Fuisu and I will dance a jig of joy mark it down
If he comes we may need to sacrifice some chickens to the AIRBHG....

Todd you are the man, best in the biz in my books so please don't take offense to this. I am a tad shocked i have seen info from other places first on Lynch I am not used to that. Is it because it isn't really a recruiting thing or is he just not sharing info with 247? Just curious as you normally are on top of things like a fat kid on a snickers.

What's the update? It's not Sunday yet, the day Mr. Lynch said he would decide.
The day before PSU camp opens and any player attending is bound to PSU from that point. Mr. Lynch is taking a class and Summer classes end Aug 8. at PSU.
Don't need to be a VIP to find this info.
Reply, Take 3. This was in response to Truthhurts, "The day before PSU camp opens and any player attending is bound to PSU from that point."
(Mods, eliminan los dos otros por favor.)
This isn't fully true. Any player that has yet to play in the 2012 season may transfer penalty free at any point and be immediately eligible. If a player has yet to play, even into December, he may transfer and play immediately, during the 2012 season, as long as he is academically eligible at the new school.
Direct from the NCAA's guidelines on PSU transfers. http://www.ncaa.org/wps/wcm/connect/public/ncaa/20120723/21207234
"Student-athletes who transfer during the 2012 season and have not competed for Penn State during that season will be immediately eligible for competition upon transfer, provided they are admitted under the normal process and are otherwise eligible per NCAA regulations. Student-athletes who transfer during the 2012 season after having competed for Penn State will not be eligible for competition during the same season at the next institution."

My take. If Akeel was staying at PSU, he would say so and get on with it. If he isn't, he would wait until just before he left Happy Valley before announcing. If he is still attending classes, he would not want to sit in them after publicly announcing he was leaving.
