Actually I wasn't kidding at all. I have a huge amount of respect for Hawians! Pacific Islanders in general are pretty athletic. The NFL has seen more and more of the Pacific islanders leaving Rugby and making it in football. Not only making it but making it big. Some of it probably comes from being able to be outside year round.

Trust me, I have a lot of respect for Hawaiians, I married one. And while there are some tremendous individual athletes coming out of the Islands these days, the overall athletic talent and team competition isn't as good, but is improving. Hence my sarcasm sign question....
Physiologically speaking Pacific Islanders have a higher muscle density than people of European or African descent. And yes it comes from all the rowing their ancestors did. It is amazing how much muscle the human shoulder can pack on. And like athletes in Florida, Georgia, Texas and California they benefit from great weather year around. Its just a matter of population.
