    • This better not be another Bosch situation! Bauers mom graduated from St. Mary's of the Woods and has two uncles that attended ND. Hopefully he receives an offer on upcoming visit.

Pretty much every school he's visited has offered, so it sounds like he's got a good chance to land offers from both Iowa and Notre Dame.

I'd tell Bauer to watch carefully how well ND does this season. 2012 and 2013 schedules will be tougher and Brian Kelly may not last. BK's spread offense won't do much for developing OLs for the NFL. Bauer is a bright guy. He will do well at whatever university he attends. DeSmet is a fine HS preparer for college.

Great to be a doctor as a profession. The pain is the paying back of medical school debt that is becoming a large burden as well as family time sacrifices that go with the residency period. If you can get a football scholarship at a school with a great pre-med track and maybe get a shot at making some pro cash and then use that nest egg to fund your medical school costs and other family needs.

I forget which of KF's early OLs around 2002 went on to medical school. Sorry!

    • The 4.67 is out of a possible 5.5.

      They have a weird scale.

True, but if I understand it correctly, the 5.5 scale only applies to students taking AP and honors classes.
