At 175lbs...“Not getting redshirted, I can come in and be on the field as a freshman.”...sounds like a coach maybe making promises out their butt.

Todd,
Is it normal for kids who come on unofficials to stay as long as 2 - 3 days? Great news on the visit.
With the number of unofficials increasing, the red carpet must be starting to show its wear and that is a good thing.

Also, FWIW, my impression is that the Iowa coaches are not overly thrilled with how the receivers are looking in spring practice.

I could believe that they are not thrilled. I looked at the depth chart that was released yesterday and I decided that I will not be attending tomorrow because of it. I know it may sound bad. I will always love my hawks, but I'm not going to waste a perfectly good Saturday watching lethargic non exciting, controlled "practice"

I still don't understand what happened with Grant. He would be in serious contention for a lot of playing time possibly even a starting position.
